Overview
We arrived with a sense of intrigue to Putahracsa – Hua Hin had been a prominent destination for package tourists and locals, but a design led boutique hotel slap bang in the heart of the town didn’t quite seem to fit. But once we’d checked in from one of the receptions hanging ‘baskets’, and met the Hotel Manager Richard, we felt assured that this hotel offered something very unique. The oft-repeated Putahracsa philosophy “details make a world of difference” were very apt. The rooms were chic, designed on clean, white lines, and our large Silksand Room balcony daybed was our perch of choice as we watched the hotel guests assume poses of perpetual relaxation around the massive pool (and even the imported beach!).
The hotel architect we met in (the truly excellent, but located further down the street) hotel restaurant talked us through Putahracsa expansion across the road, so there will eventually be beach rooms. In the meantime we recommend staying before Putahracsa truly does become the talk of the town.
