The Princess d’Annam was possibly the most eagerly anticipated hotel opening in all of Indochina, but it was certainly worth the wait and a great deal more! The location, the architecture and the attention to detail are all simply stunning with the view down through the airy lower lobby and restaurant to the South China Sea beyond being worth the entrance fee alone!
Vietnam’s first all-villa luxury resort is actually located around 30 kilometres south of Phan Thiet on the beautifully secluded and pristine Ke Ga Bay with its towering old French colonial lighthouse on its northern tip. Take a stroll along the beach and meet some of the local fishermen, still using the traditional Thung Chai basket boats, or watch the local children playing in the surf.
After a hard day of doing very little, I can highly recommend a relaxing massage ar the serene Princess d’Annam Spa before heading for dinner overlooking the South China Sea.
