Bawah Reserve – well – we could just leave the photographs to sell this incredible escape as indeed the island is every bit as beautiful as it looks. But we feel an additional need to emphasise why this stunning destination should be part of your bucket list.

It’s remote – like all the best destinations. But it’s also accessible – a 90 minute seaplane transfer from Batam Airport means you can breakfast in Singapore and lunch in Bawah. You could even dinner in Bali on the way out, but not before you’re fully relaxed, rejuvenated, and inspired.

We’re not prone to hyperbole – but this is a world class resort. You know this the minute your seaplane touches down in the lagoon – the waters as azure as expected, the overwater bungalows and beach villas as luxurious as you could imagine. But – you need to appreciate how remote you are to appreciate how wonderful Bawah is – perhaps best realised stargazing with a cocktail, or snorkelling off your villa, or paddleboarding – or – simply doing as much or as little as you want, even if that’s taking advantage of the complementary spa treatments.

Quite simply, this is a special place. Don’t just take the photographs as suitable evidence – give us a call, and we’ll tell you why we’re planning to return as soon as we can.
