You simply can’t get more central in Luang Prabang than the 3 Nagas. Located on Sisavangvong Road that runs through the centre of town along the peninsular created by the confluence of the Khan and the Mekong Rivers.
With just 15 rooms, each individually styled with a distinctive character of its own, the 3 Nagas is housed in two traditional Laos buildings either side of Sisavangvong Road. The Khamboua House was built in 1903 and has eight rooms with wooden floors, stylish bathrooms and a spacious private terrace, or verandah, overlooking the street or gardens. The Lamache House (where the other seven rooms are located) also has a fascinating history having both housed the royal family and been an ice cream factory in the 1930’s.
Completely restored in 2003 the hotel beautifully combines contemporary style with the buildings’ original architecture, to create a wonderfully relaxed and tranquil ambience.
