Unless you’ve had your head buried in the sand (excuse the pun) for the last 8 to 10 years you will not need me to explain the boom that has been Dubai.

Dubai has spent an untold fortune on the dream of becoming one of the best holiday destinations in the world and it still some times seems that the skyline is changing on an almost daily basis. The beachfront of huge cranes is now starting to become a thing of the past but the building work is set to continue for the foreseeable future with the building of the incredibly ambitious Palm Islands and The World.

Dubai certainly boasts some of the finest resorts and hotels in the world, from the iconic Burj Al Arab to the wonderful escapism of the Desert resorts, Dubai is an incredible destination.

It may not be to everyone’s taste but as a stopover to South East Asia, Dubai is well worth a visit.
