Justifiably still considered to be one of Asia’s best kept secrets, Vietnam is rapidly throwing off the shackles of a turbulent history and starting to establish itself as a leading tourist destination. A relatively late starter in terms of the Asian tourist industry, Vietnam had the advantage of learning from some of the mistakes made by its more established neighbours.
